WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER YOU BOOK?

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. To secure your dates, a 50% deposit must be sent.

  2. The balance must be paid 60 days before charter departure.

  3. We will send an offer by email or WhatsApp for you to agree and confirm your booking. Please respond to the by stating that you agree to the terms and include a photo of your passport.

  4. Failure to make the final payment by the due date will result in cancellation of your booking, and the deposit paid will be lost.

  5. For promotional deals, failure to make payments by the due date and agreed conditions will result in the client losing the discount and a normal rate will apply.

  6. Upon arrival in Costa Rica, we recommend you have at lease $100 (or more) USD in small currency for tipping and shopping.

  7. Additional expenses during the trip (Invictus apparel and crew tips) must be paid in cash on the boat. We accept USD, colones.

  8. Any form of payment constitutes acceptance of the Terms and Conditions stated on this site.

Payment Methods:

  • Bank Deposit: International transfers  bank account must cover all wire transfer charges and bank fees/commissions.

  • PayPal: An invoice can be sent, and payment can be made in one easy step. PayPal payments are subject to a 4.8% surcharge, and  additional international fees must be accepted by the guest.

  • Zelle: let us know your Zelle account and we can send a request for payment

  • The initial deposit is non-refundable but transferable to another person/party for the same date.

  • If a trip is booked and any amount people your group are unable to attend, the trip still stands at the original agreed upon rate.

  • Cancellation must be made within 60 days of departure for 100% refund.  A 50% cancellation fee will be charged, and the remaining 50% paid will become a discount coupon for another trip to be used within 1 year from the canceled trip date. Cancellation within 59 days prior to departure is non-refundable.

  • There are no refunds for airline delays or cancellations, poor conditions, personal matters, inclement weather, or reasons related to global, national, local political situations, or natural disasters affecting the trip schedule.

  • In the event of trip cancellation by INVICTUS CATAMARAN, a comparable trip on another boat or accommodation on the same dates may be offered. If no alternative trip is available, the guest will receive a full refund of the boat payment (excluding airfares).

  • If the trip cannot continue due to mechanical or technical problems and no alternative boat is available, the guest will receive a refund proportional to the number of remaining days.

  • If an accident occurs to a guest or crew member during the trip, the Captain reserves the right to end the trip early. No refund will be given, and Invictus Catamaran cannot be held liable.
